Shenetta Malkia

Shenetta is always ready to create and bring to life stories. Her modeling and acting career at age 15 in Hyattsville MD with Oxendine Music Academy where she studied piano, dance and modeling. The camera has always been her friend recording her life frame by frame. Continuing her education by attending Fox Modeling Academy in VA she learned to walk the runway and took home her first Best Runway Trophy. This was the first win with many more to follow. Shenetta also attended AIU in Atlanta GA studying Fashion Merchandizing and Film Production. Shenetta later matriculated to Bowie State University pursuing a BS in Business Administration. She is always actively and passionately pursing new opportunities in the entertainment industry and working as a Model, Actress, Hostess, Consultant, Production Manager, Production Assistant, Producer and Coach. 

Her training with some of the industry’s best coaches: David Talbert, Bill Duke, John Palotta, Casting Directors: Kim Harden & Tasha Smith have helped Malkia move gracefully in her career. Staying busy doing the things she loves keeps Malkia in her best space in life. Malkia believes One Life Saved Is One Life Given and this allowed her to receive a Community Influencer Award from Speak Life in Baltimore MD. 

Recent TV & film projects include bring the principal actress in the new feature film Tried By Fire. Other projects include: Production Assistant for America's Got Talent and the producing her first music video "Baby Freestyle" for new artist D2 from the Washington DC area. Malkia has had roles in the following productions: Super Bowl 2016 Commercial, Power, The Other Woman & Boardwalk Empire.

Malkia is a woman who believes in remaining teachable. Evolving and continuing to grow in multiples the many roles of her life, Malkia is committed to never stop creating. She is a beautiful, inspired by life, warm hearted woman of God who desires to impact all those in whom she comes in contact with. When it's not everything real estate and entertainment, Malkia works as an advocate in the area of mental health. She is the Founding President of Empowerment Essence. Empowerment Essence a Maryland 501c3 Charity Organization, focusing on eradicating bullying and suicides in the lives of our youth and young adults. The charity also has programs for victims of bullying and suicide survivors including suicide attempt survivors.
